Joe Pasquale's father tragically died of cancer after he filmed All New Monty

Joe Pasquale's father tragically died of cancer after he filmed The All New Monty.

The I'm A Celebrity winner stripped off a few weeks ago to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancer alongside some fellow celebs while his dad was still alive.

Sadly, his father Joseph passed away last month before the show, which airs tonight on ITV at 9pm, hit screens.

Explaining why he wanted to take part in the show when it was announced, Joe said: "The reason I’m here is my dad has prostate cancer.

"You’ve got to go and do it, if you can get your willy out on telly, go and do it and I’ll be proud of it".

Snooker legend Willie Thorne revealed the sad news during an interview on today's This Morning.

He said: "Joe Pasquale lost his father a few weeks ago. He was on the show when his father was alive. Condolences to Joe. It was great working with him."

Willie, who spoke openly about his own battle with prostate cancer, revealed he is now stable and was tested a few weeks ago.

He was joined in the studio by Jack Fincham , who bonded with Joe over a back, sack and crack wax.

The Love Island star revealed his own personal reason for stripping off in front of the cameras.

Jack said: "I done this for my nan really. My nan has got cancer currently now. The first time she got diagnosed she caught it early enough. So she managed to live cancer free for a few good years.

"I know first hand how important it is to catch it early enough to save your life."

The boys spoke about stripping off live in front of 500 ladies and "hanging out all over the place".

They are joined in the line-up by Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher, Crimewatch’s Rav Wilding, Dancing on Ice star Matt Evers, ex-footballer Jason Cundy.

Alongside the new stars will be regular presenter Alexander Armstrong and Diversity favourite Ashley Banjo.
