Joe McElderry has revealed that he suffered a wardrobe malfunction whilst filming a video in an Asda store recently, with him splitting his jeans open in the supermarket.
The singer-songwriter, 30, had been creating content for his fans on social media when it happened, with him sharing the footage of his recent visit to the store earlier this week.
The video shows the X Factor winner shopping in Asda, with him seen casually dropping down to the floor in time with Beyoncé 's song Partition - which accompanies the clip.
It comes amid the "drop challenge" on the social platform TikTok, which sees people suddenly drop into squats in everyday situations, with the trend featuring the same track.
The singer's attempt however took a toll on his denim jeans, with them shown ripped at the end of the video, with his underwear briefly visible to the camera in the footage.
Joe shared the video, , with his 24,000 followers on Instagram, captioning it: "When you rip your trousers in the middle of Asda trying to create content."
And he later posted a photo of the ripped jeans on his Instagram Story, with him writing alongside it: "My poor jeans." He used a laughing emoji in this caption.

The video has attracted more than a thousand likes on the social media platform, with many followers taking to the comments section of the post to express their amusement.
A number of people simply responded to the content by posting laughing emojis. This included Steps member Ian 'H' Watkins, 45, and musical theatre performer Kerry Ellis, 42.
Another person wrote in the comments section: "Well, well, bit of a mishap there then. Hope no one was looking."
Others described it as "utterly hilarious" and "so funny," with one follower stating that they were "howling." Another commented similarly: "That made me chuckle."
"Too powerful of a drop," wrote one follower, whilst another wrote: "This is hilarious. Another item of ripped clothing bites the dust." Another commented: "You are really funny."
The social media trends features Yoncé - the first part of the song Partition - released by Beyoncé, 40, in 2014. The two-part track featured on her self-titled fifth studio album.
