It certainly does not hurt to have your head coach as hungry to win an NBA title as his players happen to be, and in the case of the Boston Celtics, they evidently have that in their corner. Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla recently shared how hungry he is to hang Banner 18 for Boston to 1981 Celtics Finals MVP Cedric Maxwell on the latter’s eponymous CLNS Media podcast.
To talk it over on a recent episode, Jack Simone and Sam Lafrance, the hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, sat down and reflected on what it means to have the coach so gung-ho for Boston.
