Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party: What is it, who is on it and when is it on?

Comedian Joe Lycett will be celebrating 50 years of Pride on Channel 4. He will be hosting a live show from his home city of Birmingham.

Joe, who is known for actively supporting gay rights and playing pranks on huge companies, will be hosting Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party on Sunday, July, 3. The show will air at 9pm on Channel 4.

The comedian will be taking over Channel 4 for two hours and will be joined by many celebrity guests. Here is everything you need to know.

What is Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party?

Celebrating 50 years of Pride Joe will be welcoming many celebrity guests and attempting to pull off one of his most ambitious stunts to date. The stunt, which has had few details revealed about it, looks to be aimed at the government as it involves MPs and an impromptu statue in Westminster.

Joe explained the show. He said: “A celebration of LGBTQ+ culture. Hopefully, it’ll be thought-provoking, nostalgic, a little moving, and, ideally, funny! All are welcome and we have an insanely good lineup.”

Who is on Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party?

Joe's guests will include comedians Mawaan Rizwan, Julian Clary, Tom Allen, Gina Yashere, Rosie Jones and Mae Martin, popstar Boy George, Olympian Kelly Holmes, soap star Danny Dyer, actress Joan Collins, band Self Esteem, drag queens Tia Kofi an d Lawrence Chaney, drag king Adam All, band Steps and the stars of the Netflix hit Heartstopper.

When is Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party on?

Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party will air on Channel 4 on Sunday, July, 3 at 9pm. The show is two hours long and will finish at 11pm.

Recently Joe has come under fire and been reported to the police for one of his jokes by an audience member. Joe took to Twitter to inform his fans.

He said: "So someone came to my tour show a few weeks back and was offended by one of the jokes. And their perfectly understandable response to this was... to call the police."
