Joe Jonas Avoids Singing About Sophie Turner At Music Festival.

Joe Jonas

During their performance at the Festival d’été de Québec, Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers chose to skip a lyric referencing his estranged wife, Sophie Turner. The trio entertained the crowd with hits like “Hold On,” “What a Man Gotta Do,” and “S.O.S.” but notably omitted a line from their song “Cool” that alludes to Turner’s role in 'Game of Thrones.'

While singing the verse 'Oh, I feel like Post Malone when I get home / Sittin’ there, winnin’ like it’s ‘Game of Thrones,' Joe Jonas turned away from the mic, prompting the audience to fill in the missing lyrics. The reason behind Joe’s decision remains unclear, but fans eagerly participated in the performance.

The Jonas Brothers engaged the festival attendees by incorporating a kiss cam during their set, adding an interactive element to their show. Other artists like Carly Rae Jepsen and Nickelback also graced the Bell Stage before the JoBros took over.

Joe Jonas’ avoidance of mentioning Sophie Turner comes in the wake of their separation, which was initiated by Joe filing for divorce nearly a year ago. Reports suggested that Turner’s lifestyle and a contentious incident captured on their Ring camera contributed to their split.

Following their separation, Turner sought the return of their two daughters to England, alleging that Joe had prevented them from leaving the United States. The former couple eventually reached a temporary custody agreement in October 2023 after a mediation session.

Despite briefly dismissing their divorce proceedings, Turner later reactivated the case due to unresolved custody and property matters. Turner has since moved on with Peregrine “Perry” John Dickinson Pearson, while Joe has been linked to Stormi Bree and Laila Abdallah romantically.
