Joe Hart names famous win as the best atmosphere he experienced at Celtic Park

Joe Hart played his final game for Celtic at Celtic Park in last Saturday's 3-2 Scottish Premiership title party victory over St Mirren.

His next and final game for Brendan Rodgers' side, and indeed his last ever game of his professional career, is against Rangers this weekend in the Scottish Cup Final 2024.

That match will mark his 49th of the season, and with six trophies to his name since joining the Parkhead side in the summer of 2021, the 37-year-old has experienced a lot during his three-year stay in Glasgow.

With a series of high-profile derby showdowns, some hard-fought cup ties, and playing host to the likes of Atletico and Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, the veteran stopper has experienced Celtic Park in many forms.

Now, the Englishman has revealed the game he reckons had the best atmosphere during his time at Paradise.

"The 3-0 night game against Rangers when we took the lead in the league," said Hart in a Q&A run by the official Celtic Twitter (X) account. "There's been plenty, Saturday included, but that was pretty mind-blowing."

That night, on February 2, 2022, a full house at Celtic Park enjoyed goals from Liel Abada and a double from Reo Hatate to push Ange Postecoglou's side to the top of the Scottish Premiership, ultimately lifting the trophy later that year.

As for the goalkeeper's favourite moment in a Celtic shirt altogether, Hart named last weekend's title celebrations as his fondest memory.

"My favourite moment was Saturday," he said. "That was one of my favourite moments in a pair of gloves and boots.

"I can't thank the club and the Celtic family enough for how they've embraced me and made me feel welcome from day one. I'll always be a part of the club as long as I'm welcome!"
