Joe Hart labelled Aberdeen's 'best player' as Celtic keeper in Willie Miller's scathing sights after Dons thrashing

Willie Miller has launched a scathing string of criticism on Aberdeen's performance at Celtic - and ranks Joe Hart as the best player for the visitors.

Callum McGregor's home opener inside two minutes set the tone for the afternoon as Reo Hatate's double plus Liel Abada's effort put Ange Postecoglou's side home and dry in a commanding 4-0 win. It could have been more at Parkhead according to Gothenburg Great Miller, who was less than impressed by some of the actions of Celtic goalkeeper Hart, with his side home and dry.

But his main criticism is directed towards the side without a manager currently, who he believes made it far too easy for their hosts. Miller told Sportsound: "There isn't any opportunities (for Aberdeen) other than possibly Joe Hart being their best and most dangerous player with some of his clearances at times, really switching off and not concentrating properly. He gave Jonny Hayes two opportunities actually to find the back of the net but that would not have made any different at all. The first half they were ripped apart, Aberdeen.

"2-0 going on for or five and if it had been that, then there would have been no complaints from anybody because that is what Celtic deserved. Sometimes they can do that, create chances and they don't take enough of them perhaps.

"The second half, the pace went down and the tempo went down, but they were still in total control of the game and Aberdeen really struggled. You've got to have some way of making Celtic think and they didn't have that plan.

"There were five defenders right across the line and mostly lying deep and not pushing anywhere close to the halfway line to try and close the gap. So it was never going to be anything other than an easy afternoon for Celtic."
