The 2022 New York Jets season will, almost fittingly, end the way it began, with Joe Flacco as the starting quarterback.
Per Connor Hughes of SNY, Flacco will start the season finale against the Miami Dolphins as Mike White has been ruled out due to his rib injury. Zach Wilson will be the No. 2 quarterback.

Flacco started the first three games of the season while Wilson was recovering from a preseason knee injury and went 1-2, including the comeback win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2.
Flacco also made a brief appearance in Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills while White was shortly out of the game.
Flacco threw for 901 yards and five touchdowns with three interceptions in his three starts against the Ravens, Browns and Bengals before Wilson returned in Week 4 against the Steelers.
Interestingly enough, if Flacco throws two touchdowns against the Dolphins, he will finish the season as the team leader in that category. Flacco has five this season while Wilson has just six. White ended up with three.
The pieces are coming together for a Joe Flacco vs. Skylar Thompson showdown where the Jets can knock the Dolphins out of the playoffs or move closer to the top ten of the draft.
