Joe Burrow wins another weekly award, this time for showing vs. Patriots

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow just keeps stacking the awards.

This time he’s the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 16 due to his 375 passing yards and three touchdowns in a win over the New England Patriots.

That’s Burrow’s third time winning it this year, the others in Week 7 and Week 13 due to performances against the Falcons and Chiefs, respectively.

This also means Burrow has won the award five times over the last two seasons. He’s also the first offensive player in Bengals history to win the award three times in a single season (Carlos Dunlap in 2019 and David Fulcher in 1989 have done it on the other side of the ball).

Burrow has two more weeks to win another, furthering his team lead that might go untouched unless he challenges it.
