Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow took a hit at the NFL Honors this past week.
We’re not referring to the lack of earning even a single first-place vote in the MVP race, either, where he finished fourth.
No, Burrow was the subject of a verbal jab from host Kelly Clarkson, who went on a monologue and put the Bengals quarterback in her sights. She joked that she thought Burrow was a TikTok rapper when she saw him.
That’s a hit at Burrow’s fashion sense, of course, which has drawn plenty of headlines in the past, whether he’s wearing something notable for a friend’s business or otherwise.
Like the MVP results, Burrow probably doesn’t much care, as sleights from voters and entertainers alike won’t alter the goal of winning a Super Bowl.
