Joe Burrow to the Olympics? Bengals QB talks rise of flag football

Could Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow pursue an Olympic gold medal in the coming years?

With the news that flag football will debut at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, Burrow is one of many football stars to express interest in partaking in the event.

Burrow recently told Stagwell that beyond individual aspirations, it should help grow the sport, too.

“I think it’s exciting,” Burrow said. “I think it’s gonna be great for the game, especially with the Olympics coming up having that there. That would be exciting to play in, that’d be a lot of fun. Especially when I think the Olympics is such an international brand. But when that starts to happen, that’s going to really grow the game a lot.”

As for Burrow, he might just be coming to an Olympic stage soon, then.
