Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is back at Paul Brown Stadium after a brief absence due to his undergoing an appendectomy.
Burrow was notably absent from the team’s Back Together Saturday event, with the team not wanting to comment on his recovery while giving him privacy.
That changed Monday, with Burrow himself back in the building and both players like Tyler Boyd and head coach Zac Taylor confirming things are about as normal as it gets for the star quarterback.
While Taylor noted that Burrow isn’t going to practice just yet, it’s a step in the right direction after what is typically a very routine procedure with a quick return timetable.
There’s still no official timeline provided by the team, but the fact Burrow’s in the building suggests he could be back on the field throwing soon.
Tyler Boyd says Joe Burrow is in the building following his appendectomy. Asked how he seemed to be doing, Boyd said: “He’s good. He’s here. He’s walking.”
