There are many stats that paint an impressive picture about Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Some of those, though, are more important than others.
Take Burrow’s numbers while under pressure from opposing defenses. Performance under pressure is something that continues to emerge as a critical scouting point when evaluating college prospects and projecting them to pros.
Turns out Burrow was good at it in college and continues to excel in the same area while running the offense for the Bengals.
As Pro Football Focus pointed out, over the last two seasons, Burrow ranks third in the NFL with 17 touchdown passes while under pressure:

Somebody out there will argue that Burrow is always under pressure due to bad offensive lines, which is somewhat fair. But better to be great in this area than bad, right?
Burrow’s highlight-worthy reels of pocket presence and escapability naturally lead to touchdowns, which is a big part of his game that makes him one of the best in the league and his offense always a threat.
