Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow looks like a no-brainer as an MVP candidate.
Buy Bengals TicketsWe argued a few weeks back he should heavily be in consideration, though most of the attention goes to Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs and Jalen Hurts of the Eagles.
Case in point, a new segment from “Get Up” in which Burrow only gets a single mention.
The only one rocking with Burrow? Mike Greenberg, who threw out a quick comment about another analyst’s pick: “My pick’s not on the screen but I would take Joe Burrow. He’s gonna beat your guy on Monday night (Josh Allen) in a couple weeks.”
Maybe the Bengals beat the Bills, maybe not. But it’s impossible to ignore Burrow’s season after coming all the way back from that burst appendix. He’s second in completion percentage (68.2) and passing touchdowns (31) and fourth in yards (3,885). He looked great even without Ja’Marr Chase and his team has won six in a row and has a shot at the AFC’s top seed.
If Burrow keeps this up, he should end up being impossible to ignore in discussions like this.
