Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow sent out some shockwaves with a musical opinion recently but played it quite a bit safer when asked about the musical powerhouse that is Taylor Swift.
With Swift’s “The Eras” tour coming to Paycor Stadium in a few weeks, reporters asked Burrow about his opinion on her music.
While Burrow isn’t going to use Swift’s music as workout material, he did note that he might just show up at the concert.
“I have a lot of respect for what Taylor Swift has done with her career,” Burrow said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “I can’t say that I’m listening to too much Taylor Swift on the speakers in the headphones. I know a lot of people are but that’s just not me. I have heard the tour is a lot of fun, though. Maybe I’ll stop by.”
And who could blame Burrow, given the rave reviews of the tour and the wicked time folks had getting hands on tickets?
Keep an eye on social media during and after the concert at the end of the month to see if Burrow did decide to show up.
