The Cincinnati Bengals injury report is all about quarterback Joe Burrow.
Or at least that’s what it feels like, as Burrow returned to practice on Thursday and went through warmups and stretches and even threw a little before most of the reps went to other quarterbacks.
Buy Bengals TicketsThat left Burrow with a “DNP” tag on the day, as he didn’t do anything else.
But it’s not all Burrow, either. The Bengals got some good news with safety Nick Scott, who left the field with a concussion last week, and defensive end Joseph Ossai, who hasn’t returned since the ankle injury suffered in the preseason finale.
Scott joined Tycen Anderson as the two “limited” players on the day, while Ossai was a full participant.
Burrow has said the extra day of rest for a Monday game is a reason for hope about his ability to play.
