Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will undergo surgery on his injured wrist on Monday.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the expectation is that Burrow will make a full recovery and be ready for the 2024 season.
Burrow went to injured reserve on Saturday amid a flurry of roster moves, as expected. The Bengals had previously ruled him out for the season and head coach Zac Taylor shot down the idea that Burrow might be able to make a return should the team make the playoffs.
Once Burrow’s operation is complete, we’ll get another update on specifics and possible timelines. For now, the Bengals move on with Jake Browning, while Burrow will be on the sidelines to help when he can.
