Joe Burrow gets a nod on new Lil Wayne verse

The move into general pop culture continues for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

The latest sign of this? Burrow just got named-dropped by Lil Wayne on the rapper’s new track “Came Out A Beast” alongside LSU basketball player Flau’jae Johnson.

Johnson named Burrow in a verse on the song, as did Wayne with a simple “Reppin LSU like I’m Joe Burrow” on his feature.

An offer for Bengals fans

Lil Wayne and Burrow have that LSU thread connecting them despite the rapper’s status as a Green Bay Packers fan. He recently did voiceover work for the LSU women’s team in 2023.

For his part, Burrow has been referenced in multiple other hip-hop tracks over the years, courtesy of names like Jack Harlow.
