Joe Burrow Foundation helped 20 families pay mental health expenses

Joe Burrow’s foundation helped local Cincinnati families pay for mental health treatment, according to his parents.

Burrow’s parents, Jimmy and Robin, appeared on an episode of “The Mental Game,” a podcast hosted by Brandon Saho, and said they helped about 20 families at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital who were having mental health issues.

“Their families had trouble paying the bills, so we started out thinking ‘Well let’s see how many we can pay,’” Jimmy Burrow said. “There were about 20 of them and we just couldn’t decide so we basically paid for 20 families.”

They said the impact they had on those families was overwhelming and they appreciate the opportunity to be able to help.

The Joe Burrow Foundation was launched in October 2022 to help underprivileged people in Cincinnati and Louisiana.
