It was a pretty minor thing, but back before the bye week, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow underwent a pretty big change to his cleat game.
That caught the attention of onlookers and subsequently only created more hype around the quiet change because Burrow expertly dodged the questions.
It left fans wondering if there was a new endorsement deal on the way or something else.
Still no word on that or if it’s just a personal preference thing, but Wednesday, while starting prep for the game against the San Francisco 49ers, Burrow debuted a fresh color on the new cleats, as captured by Fox 19’s Jeremy Rauch:
