Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been cast in something of a new light while Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs head to another Super Bowl.
With Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills falling in the AFC title game over the weekend, Burrow and the Bengals were one of the biggest instant reactions shoved into the spotlight the most.
Burrow and the Bengals are, after all, the only reason Mahomes and the Chiefs haven’t appeared in six straight Super Bowls.

While the Bengals focus on rebuilding the defense around a new coordinator to support Burrow in the wake of his MVP-styled year, it feels like 30 other fanbases have an almost newfound respect for him in the wake of Chiefs fatigue.
