Monday night’s NFC North rivalry game between the Bears and Vikings was, in a word, ugly. Chicago got the win, 12–10, but it was an absolutely painful three hours of television that showcased some really bad football in yet another dreadful NFL prime-time game this season.
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were on the call for ESPN, and the two legendary announcers perfectly summed up the evening with sarcastic reactions after the last desperate play by the Vikings finally came to an end.
Just listen to their voices, and Aikman’s laughter, on this call, and you’ll quickly realize why they are two of the best announcers in all of sports:
"And with the Benny Hill music playing in the background, this game is over."

"Thankfully."

Fans loved it:
The contempt in Buck's voice at the start of the play is awesome. https://t.co/UFvoHNqwx7

anybody that still doesn’t like Buck and Aikman in 2023 is doing the whole sports experience wrong. https://t.co/6W3rTT6sKT
