Joe Brolly has backed a call for an Orange band to perform at Croke Park while taking aim at Down.
James McCartan's men lost by 1-10 to 0-6 to Derry on Saturday night as the Allianz Football League kicked off.
Brolly couldn't resist a laugh at Down's expense following his native county's win over their rivals as he took to social media.
The pundit shared a clip of former Down manager Pete McGrath discussing the possibility of an Orange band playing at Croke Park ahead of an All-Ireland final.
In the video, McGrath says: "I was thinking over the last couple of days about inclusivity and I was saying to myself wouldn't it be great, an All-Ireland final in Croke Park, and instead of the Artane Boys Band we've got an Orange band playing flutes or whatever and the Lambeg drums before an All-Ireland final. Wouldn't that be a tremendous statement?"
Tweeting the clip, Brolly said: "The great Pete McGrath suggesting that an Orange band could play before the All Ireland final, as a gesture of inclusivity. A terrific idea. Also, there is a better chance of Orangemen playing in Croke Park than Down."
