JOE ARIBO has rejected a new Rangers contract, according to reports.
The Nigerian international has just one year left on his current Ibrox deal and could walk away from the club next year for nothing if he is not sold this window.
A number of reports have suggested Premier League interest in Aribo from clubs such as Southampton and Nottingham Forest.
And now talkSPORT have claimed that the 25-year-old has rejected an offer to stay at Rangers and extend his current contract.
Aribo joined Rangers from Charlton in the summer of 2019 for just £300,000, so should the club sell him, they'll be in line to make a large profit.
TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor expects Aribo to move on this summer.
He said: “There will be clubs interested in Joe Aribo. If there is a £10million release clause I’m sure that will be met because of what he showed in the (Europa League) final with his goal.
"Every time I watched him over the last couple of seasons he’s been a player that’s stood out for me. He’s very comfortable on the ball, always shows that work rate and can play a number of positions. He’s a top player who Rangers will not want to lose, definitely.”
