Jodie Marsh says she's 'fat but happier than ever' running own farm in life transformation

Jodie Marsh reckons she's 'fat but living her best life' as she spends time with her animals at her farm in Essex.

The former glamour girl, 44, was known for her love of partying and wild nights on the town - but now she's more likely to be found mucking out her emu.

Jodie opened the farm after her mum Kristina became ill, saying it was her dream to own an animal sanctuary.

Kristina sadly died in 2020 just after the farm opened, but Jodie says she knows her mum would be 'so proud'.

Speaking about her dramatic lifestyle change, the model said: “The reason I'm now fat and haven't got a six pack is because I don't have time to eat properly or even do the food shopping. Not ever."

Jodie was known for flashing the flesh for a number of lads' mag, but told The Sun: “I cannot explain the joy I feel every single day of my life, the satisfaction, the feeling of contentment, just knowing that I'm doing something good.

“I'm doing what I always should have been doing, 100 per cent.”

The former body builder has some 350 animals - including a randy emu called Pam.

Pam apparently tries it on with Jodie twice a month in scenes described as "terrifying".

Jodie recently shared a video of EastEnders stars Jessie Wallace and Linda Henry at the farm as they took a break from filming the BBC soap.

The actresses, who play Kat Slater and Shirley Carter respectively, looked delighted to be getting some fresh air at the sanctuary, which is called Fripps Farm Animal Rescue.

It's not all a bed of roses at the farm though after Jodie explained she'd been 'raided by the RSCPA after "cruel trolls" were "out to cause trouble".

After she took her meerkat Mabel to the local pub, the model said on Instagram: "We have just had 2 full hours of our day wasted by the RSPCA, APHA and some woman from trading standards.

"And it’s all because of my obsessed lunatic stalker. They turned up here mob-handed and demanded to see our animals."

She added: "They have been here for an hour because they have had reports an emu is in distress because it has a tube down its neck.

"As you all know emu would have died if we had not tube fed her.

Jodie's farm is largely supported by her income from OnlyFans, but it looks like she might have to upload some more content.

Explaining the vet's bills are £10,000 a month, the star admitted the sanctuary costs a whopping £4k a week to run.
