Jodie Comer and Tess Daly lead celebs leaving boozy BAFTAs after parties

The stars were out in force on Sunday night as the BAFTA TV Awards took place in London - and as ever, the celebs seemingly enjoyed partying into the early hours.

Among those clambering for a lift home was Tess Daly who looked ready to depart as she slumped in a taxi.

The presenter looked glamorous in a sparkling green gown with her blonde locks flowing, while she gripped onto her white clutch bag as she prepared to make her swift exit.

Elsewhere, the stunning Jodie Comer looked bleary eyed as she clung to her BAFTA for Best Leading Actress for her incredible performance in Channel 4 drama Help.

As she crossed the road in a revealing low-cut black dress, there appeared to be bottles of alcohol perched on the wall.

Earlier in the night, she had thanked Channel 4 in her acceptance speech and her co-star Stephen Graham also seemed to have enjoyed his time at the after party.

He was snapped with a huge grin on his face as he left, flashing a thumbs up at the cameras.

He had been awarded the gong for Best Mini Series for BBC prison drama Time earlier in the night, beating popular Channel 4 show It’s A Sin, Landscapers and Stephen.

In his acceptance speech, Stephen said: "You know when people say ‘We weren’t expecting this’, on my ma’s life, we really weren’t expecting this."

He continued to praise the "phenomenal cast of young working class men who were absolutely outstanding, every single one of them."

Call The Midwife star Helen George took a helping hand as she exited the event but still managed to look glam in doing so.

She had earlier stunned onlookers in the figure hugging black gown as she hit the star-studded red carpet.

Susanna Reid also looked ready for her bed as she strapped in for her ride home with her eyes closed.

She cut a relieved figure as she readied herself to leave the venue with her flawless makeup still perfectly applied.

Fellow early morning presenter Lorraine Kelly was also quick off the mark to leave the event as she strapped herself into her cab for her ride home.

And Stephen Mulhern was another star who looked happy to see the backseat of the taxi as he piled in wearing a smart suit and bow-tie combination.

Power couple Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright still looked super glam as they were snapped in their ride home.

While presenter Mark had removed his jacket for the journey, Our Girl's Michelle still looked outstanding in the early hours in a shiny salmon pink one-shoulder gown, which clung to her petite frame.

The glamorous couple - who have been married since 2015 - wowed fans earlier in the night as they cosied up for a snap at the annual ceremony.

It was one of the pair's first public appearances in a number of years as the continue to renovate their dream home.
