Joao Felix sends message to Chelsea fans ahead of Premier League return for West Ham clash

Joao Felix has sent a positive message to Chelsea fans ahead of his Premier League return next month. The Portuguese forward was sent off on his debut against Fulham and is set to be available for selection when the Blues face West Ham on February 11.

Felix showed signs of promise before being given his marching orders and will be a welcome boost to Graham Potter's squad when he is available for selection next month. The 23-year-old completed a switch to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid after his relationship with manager Diego Simeone soured.

His arrival will look to improve Chelsea's form in front of goal and fans are excited about the prospect of him linking up with Mykhailo Mudryk in the second half of the season. Felix was unavailable for the win against Crystal Palace and draw against Liverpool as he continues to serve his three-match ban that will see him also miss the return Premier League clash against the Cottagers next week.

The Portugal international has continued to train with the squad throughout his ban and is looking forward to returning to action against the Hammers in two weeks' time. Felix has sent a message thanking fans for their support as he eyes a return to Graham Potter's matchday squad next month.

In a post on Instagram, Felix wrote: "It's not about how it starts, it's about how it ends. Back soon, blues *blue heart emoji* *white heart emoji*. Thanks for the support."

The 23-year-old scored five goals in 21 appearances for Atletico before his move to Stamford Bridge. Potter will hope the Portuguese forward can help fire his team back up the Premier League table, starting with a London derby against West Ham.
