I keep a very close eye on the Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia page on Target – the collection Target has with designer Joanna Gaines. Firstly, because I like to see what's new and that I can share, but also because it's my favorite collection at Target, and my cart tends to mostly be filled with pieces from just this range.
Full price, all the pieces are great value, giving Joanna's classic modern rustic style on a tighter budget, but add up to 40% off and these pieces are unmissable. Her latest collection that launched early this year was, of course, very focused on outdoor and summer decor, and there were so many classic pieces that would instantly elevate your patio.
And while summer might be in full swing, it's never too late to add to your setup with some new pieces, especially with the holiday weekend coming up. I've rounded up the buys I would add to my cart to give my patio a quick mid-summer spruce.

This is the stand out product of the collection for me. I think it was a great price before if went into the sale, but for under $50? This is the chicest, cheapest piece of patio furniture I have seen all summer. The pop of the green trim feels so on trend for 2025.
I have discovered drink dispensers this summer. Or discovered stylish ones anyway. They are such an easy way to always have cool, tasty drinks on hand outdoors, and you can find really aesthetic ones now too – like this one with a chic rattan base.
And there's a matching ice bucket! This collection really makes everyday essential hosting pieces so much chicer. This has great reviews too with many saying it's as practical as it is pretty.
I love candles outdoors. A patio table lit just by candlelight as the daylight fades is summer to me. And candles that double as decor, adding something to the tablescape, are a winner. This one has a lovely soft scent too, so will fill the evening with a fresh fragrance.
These lanterns are some of the best sellers from the collection. Available in two sizes, they are solar-powered and totally cordless, so you can easily move them around your patio where you need the light.
You'll never find a paper napkin at one of my parties. The single-use is a waste, and having fabric napkins at your outdoor table feels more elevated and sophisticated. Plus, you can use them time and time again. These are reversible too, gingham on one side, stripes on the other, so you can mix and match.
I can't decide whether I like these colorful lights or the rattan version best. As a lover of neutrals and textures, I am surprised I am really drawn to that color combo of light blues and cream, and that pop of red, feels very on trend for this summer.
A chic portable lamp and a Bluetooth speaker? This is a must-have for outdoor hosting. The light is adjustable, so you can create the ambience you need, and the reviews say the speaker is surprisingly good and has a good range, too.
There are a few bits of outdoor furniture in the Target sale, all of which are seriously chic and all great prices. But these chairs at $198 each are a steal! They look so expensive and come with the pillows you see above, but you can remove them if you want to see more of the woven design.
There's plenty more outdoor pieces to shop in the Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia sale, with up to 40% off, but be quick as I can see stocks are getting low on some of the most popular pieces. Plus, if you order ASAP, you could be enjoying your new buys over the holiday weekend.
