Local fans of JLS are in for an extra treat thanks to news that the boyband will be performing an extra show in Newcastle on their upcoming tour.
The four members - JB Gill, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and Oritsé Williams - have announced that, following 'phenomenal' demand for tickets, they will be adding a new Newcastle show during their stop-off in November on their eagerly-awaited EVERYBODY SAY JLS: The Hits Tour.
They are now set to perform a matinee show at Utilita Arena on November 4 ahead of that night's already confirmed date. Tickets will go on sale at 9am this Friday, March 17.

Since news of their upcoming world tour, showcasing their back-catalogue of hits, was first announced in February, there has been huge demand for tickets which include a £284 'ultimate VIP' option of a photo opportunity with the band and a Q&A ahead of the concert.
JLS have kept their legions of local fans ever since shooting to fame as 2008 runners-up on The X-Factor; going on to have five number one hits including Beat Again, Love You More and She Makes Me Wanna and winning two Brits and five MOBO awards. They included Utilita Arena on their huge comeback tour in 2021 - delayed by the pandemic - which saw them reunite on stage for the first time since their 2013 split, announcing a new record deal that same year.
It proved a mammoth hit and saw them add extra dates to that too as they performed to a total of more than 350,000 people, including four sold-out shows at The O2 in London. They also returned to the charts when their album 2.0, including Eternal Love and Day One, debuted at number four. And demand continues.
As well as the new Newcastle show, they recently added two dates in Birmingham and Cardiff. Newcastle fans will have to be quick off the mark when the latest matinee show at the matinee show goes on sale this March 17.
