Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher was in the wrong place. Fortunately, he didn’t attempt to make a tackle or get run over.
The 57-year-old Fisher likely would have been clobbered if he had gotten in the way of Auburn’s 6-foot-1, 222-pound linebacker Eugene Asante on Saturday.
Asante had collected a fumble and took off 67 yards for the end zone. He passed by Fisher on his way to six points that brought Auburn within 20-10 after the PAT in SEC action.
