The Cleveland Browns officially introduced Jim Schwartz as their next defensive coordinator today with a press conference. Among other topics, Schwartz answered why Cleveland? Schwartz had this to say about his draw toward Cleveland and Stefanski:
“He started from the bottom like I did and worked his way up incrementally over time. And I have a lot of respect for that. I’ve heard of a lot of guys who can persevere through some tough times and they don’t feel like they’re like they are advancing as quick as other people are. But they just do the work.”
As Stefanski still has to cool his own seat back down a bit, the duo of him and Schwartz have the same mindset to work and to get the Browns back into the playoffs.
