Jim Goodwin has revealed that if he stays on as Dundee United manager, he would like to make Jamie McGrath a permanent signing.
McGrath, who is on-loan from Wigan Athletic, has played a starring role in Dundee's revival which has seen 'The Terrors' climb out of the bottom two.
Dundee may face competition for the services of the former St Mirren star, with Hibs rumoured to be interested in signing the Republic of Ireland international.

Goodwin however is eager to keep McGrath in his squad and has his eyes set on another season in charge of United.
Goodwin insisted: “There will be a number of teams in Scotland who will be interested in Jamie. I know it hasn’t worked out the way he would have liked at Wigan but I do think there will be a number of teams down there taking notice of what he is doing.
"I have worked closely for a couple of years at St Mirren and since coming in here, that relationship is a good one.
"We work well together and wherever I end up in the summer or what opportunities I get in the summer then I would want to be one of those managers in the mix to try and make Jamie a permanent signing."
