A woman said that people are "disappointed" when they meet her as they always assume she is Hollywood legend Jim Carrey - because she is the spitting image of him. Heather Shaw, 34, is a comedian and became a viral success after pretending she was Ace Ventura's long-lost daughter.
People fell for the story, mostly because Heather, from Kentucky, US, looks just like the A-lister - and now she's garnered more than 2.2m followers by impersonating the star. But Heather, who is also a comedian, fears that her looks may hinder her career as she worries people won't see her as an individual, but more of a celeb doppelgänger instead.
What do you think about Heather's doppelganger? Let us know in the comments...
Heather said: "I think it's just a freak accident that when you mix my mum and dad's looks, you get one kid looking like Jim Carrey. I realised I looked like Jim around the age of eight.
"When Ace Ventura came out, I could do impressions of Ace really easily to the point that my babysitters would request I do re-enactments of certain scenes to make them laugh.
"Everyone assumes I'd be annoyed with it but I've heard it my whole life so I've just become used to it.
"People tend to recognise me now as 'the Jim Carrey girl' so luckily no one is completely mistaking me for the man."
Heather thinks that looking like Jim, who starred in films such as The Mask and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, has overall been positive - but it's also brought some downsides.
She continued: "I've always wanted to be a comedian since I was a kid, which makes sense with having this face.
"But also it can be hard sometimes to make sure I'm my own person and not just some lookalike of one of the most famous comedians out there.
"It's helped my comedy career a bit as I'm able to have a following of fans and do bigger and better things in my comedy career."
The dead ringer for Carrey doesn't think he is aware of their striking resemblance but says it would be "wild" to meet him one day.
She said: "I really doubt he knows about me.
"The man is busy and off social media.
"It would be wild to meet him but I'm not holding my breath.
"I also don't want to bother the guy. He is a comedy legend and must be very tired."
Heather became popular on TikTok after impersonating the star and she's garnered an army of followers in the process. People are always quick to comment on her videos.
One person said: "I think we all want to see a video of you and Jim Carrey together!"
"Every time you do the Jim Carrey voice it makes me so happy," another person said.
Someone else said: "Plot twist she is Jim Carrey with a face and voice filter."
"What if you had kids with Jim Carrey and just created a whole family tree of mini Jims," added someone else.
One person admitted: "This is the second time I'm coming across your account and I'm still flabbergasted."
