Lioness legend Jill Scott has been confirmed as the fifth I'm A Celebrity contestant - and if her football career is anything to go by, she will quickly become a favourite in the jungle.
Scott, 35, announced her retirement from football this summer after helping England to glory in the UEFA Women's Euros. She has over 160 caps for the national side and scored 27 goals from midfield between 2006 and 2022.
At club level, she began her career at Sunderland before joining Everton in 2006. She later joined Manchester City in 2013 and had loan spells at both Everton and Aston Villa before calling time on her career earlier this year.
She won one Women's Super League title with Manchester City, as well as three FA Cups and three League Cups. She has two major honours from her time at Everton, one FA Cup and the FA Women's Premier League Cup.
When asked whether the jungle will be more nerve wracking than the Euros final against Germany this year, she replied: "That is a very good question but I don't think anything will test my nerves as much as that final.
"I have never really been confronted by snakes and spiders in England so I don't know how I will react to them, apart from a spider in the bath every now and then."
One moment from the final against Germany caught the attention of the nation as she appeared to aim a number of expletives at opponent Sydney Lohmann. When asked about the viral clip, Scott added: "I've never had an interview where they haven't mentioned that! I am not proud of that swearing and I don't usually swear so I like to think that wouldn't happen again.
"I have been doing a lot of random stuff but coaching is what I want to do eventually. I am just going to enjoy this time and enjoy life."
A number of other famous faces will be taking part on the show, including radio presenter Chris Moyles and former Love Island star Olivia Attwood. The show gets underway next month on November 6 at 9pm.
