'Jhund' vs 'The Batman': Amitabh Bachchan to clash with Robert Pattinson at the box office; which film will you watch? - VOTE

Amitabh Bachchan's sports drama 'Jhund' finally has a release date! After multiple delays owing to the pandemic, the makers have picked March 4 for the theatrical release of the film.

Interestingly, it will not have a solo release. Bollywood's Big B will lock horns with 'The Batman' that is also set for a March 4 theatrical release.

The film that marks Robert Pattinson's first turn as Gotham's masked vigilante as he takes on Paul Dano's Edward Nashton aka Riddler; John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.

The film also stars Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle; Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD's James Gordon; Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis as Alfred.

'Jhund' marks the Hindi directorial debut of Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, best known for Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat' and the critically-acclaimed 2013 drama 'Fandry'. It will see Bachchan as Vijay Barse, a Nagpur-based retired sports teacher who pioneers a slum soccer movement.

'Jhund' was originally set to open in cinemas in 2020 and was later postponed to June 2021, but was pushed further due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
