Thiruvananthapuram: Jharkhand crushed Tamil Nadu by eight wickets in an Elite Group B match of the senior women’s T20 league at the Sports Hub here on Monday.
Opener Mamtha Kanojia struck an unbeaten 48 as Jharkhand cruised to an easy win after restricting Tamil Nadu to 100 for eight.
M.D. Thirushkamini top-scored for Tamil Nadu with an unbeaten 58, but her side lost its way in the death overs. Tamil Nadu managed just 23 runs in the last six overs.
