Jewish Democrat Predicts Wave Of Support For Trump In November

Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Trump meets with supporters in West Palm Beach

A Jewish Democrat speaking at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday expressed his belief in a potential surge of support for former President Trump from Jewish Democrats in the upcoming November elections. The speaker, identified as a lifelong Jewish Democrat, highlighted that he knows very few Orthodox Jews who voted for President Biden in 2020 and intend to do so again in 2024. He anticipates a significant increase in Jewish support for Donald Trump, unlike anything seen before.

One of the speakers at the GOP convention, the individual is part of a group of six Jewish students who are suing Harvard University for discrimination. This legal action follows antisemitic protests that occurred on the campus after the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. The Democratic voter expressed dissatisfaction with President Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict, stating that this could impact his electoral prospects.

He mentioned that Biden is losing support from both the left and the right, emphasizing the need for the President's advisors to recognize the concerns of various constituencies across the country. The speaker criticized Biden for delays in providing crucial ammunition to Israel, failure to address illegal protests targeting Jewish Americans, and inability to secure the release of American hostages held by Hamas.

During his address at the convention, the speaker intends to focus on the failures of universities in supporting Jewish students during such protests, advocate for the release of U.S. hostages held by Hamas, and call for reforms in higher education to promote patriotism and the values of Western civilization in academic settings.
