Jewellery trend alert: Bangles to stack for the ultimate arm candy

Good news to jewellery layering enthusiasts - bangles are back!

For many of us, they never really left but the recent crop of Fashion Week shows has placed this particular type of wrist candy on the forefront of the agenda – ready to stack.

On the autumn/winter 2025 runway, we saw bangles with charm pendants at Chloe, chunky and layered up at Dsquared2, with contrasting textures at Fendi (where suede made a surprise appearance) and paired with oversized earrings and brooches at Miu Miu, all of which demonstrate that these bracelets are set to be the foundation of your seasonal jewellery looks.

And celebrities have already been embracing the trend. Just look to Peggy Gou below, who adorned Chanel logo-emblazoned cuffs for the French fashion house’s recent show. The Olsen twins are famously fans of the style where their Bulgari Serpenti bracelet has become something of a signature. Meghan Markle too has pledged her allegiance to the silhouette, while the most iconic bangle on the market, the Cartier LOVE bracelet is ubiquitously spotted on the Daily Mail sidebar of shame.

These bangles are typically gold but often showcased with mixed metals and are not to be reserved solely for evening wear, punctuating ensembles as classic as jeans and a nice tee with a satisfying clang and striking light-reflecting illumination.

Of course, there are delicate, timeless silhouettes that will fit seamlessly in your collection but if you’re looking to make a statement, there are bold chunky cuffs, geometric designs and sculptural shapes aplenty. There are no rules when it comes to this particular form of arm candy.
