With the short-list of options on the table for teams who could be forced to be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks, there were a few intriguing choices. In the end, no team was more enticing for both the league and fans than the new-look Jets with Aaron Rodgers at the helm.
And as ESPN's Adam Schefter reported, the Jets have indeed been selected as the feature team for the popular series.
NFL and NFL Films have selected the New York Jets to serve as this year’s team on Hard Knocks, per sources.

New York took arguably the biggest offseason swing for the fences of any team in the NFL by striking a trade for Rodgers. Now, he'll be featured, along with a star-studded group of young players such as running back Breece Hall and wide receiver Garrett Wilson, among others.
Speaking of Rodgers, he's commented on the show before and didn't exactly seem to be the biggest fan.

Last season's version of Hard Knocks was a fan favorite for many, featuring the Lions amid their push to turn around a brutal playoff drought and led by outspoken head coach Dan Campbell. While Jets head coach Robert Saleh is certainly willing to speak the truth often, he should have no problem providing some great moments for fans.
Prior to that, the Cowboys (2021), Rams and Chargers (2020), R2013aiders (2019), Browns (2018), Buccaneers (2017), Rams (2016), Texans (2015), Falcons (2014) and Bengals (2013) covered the last 10 years of teams featured. The Jets were featured on the show once previously in 2010.
