The Jets made their first roster cut at the tight end position Tuesday. The team released TE Kenny Yeboah, per Brian Costello of the New York Post.

Yeboah was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss in 2021 after an impressive showing at that year’s Senior Bowl, including catching a fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Feleipe Franks.
With the Jets keeping either three or maybe four tight ends out of six, it was going to be a tough call either way, but Yeboah just ended up buried on the depth chart.
This leaves C.J. Uzomah, Tyler Conklin, Jeremy Ruckert, Lawrence Cager and Trevon Wesco on the roster, for now.
