The Jets’ entire 2021 quarterback room will return after Mike White signed his restricted free agent tender for $2.54 million, the team announced Tuesday.
White will rejoin Zach Wilson and Joe Flacco after the latter re-signed on a one-year, $3.5 million deal earlier this month.
White, a former undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky, enjoyed a career year in New York after taking over for the injured Wilson in Week 7. White attempted his first regular-season pass and came back to start against the Bengals in Week 8. He thrived in a 34-31 win. White finished the game with 405 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and earned a place in the Hall of Fame for his performance.
White completed 66.7 percent of his attempts in 2021 and finished with 953 passing yards, five touchdowns and eight interceptions.
