For one reason or another, there have been plenty of eyes on the New York Jets this season. With or without Aaron Rodgers.
The Jets are coming off a huge upset of the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6 and a lot of fans tuned in to watch them do it. Sunday’s Jets-Eagles game is the most-watched game in the NFL this season. 26 million people had their eyes on their TV for this one.

New York had already been a part of the two highest-rated games this season entering Week 6, so now the top three most-viewed games have featured the Jets. As would be expected, those two games were the two primetime appearances thus far for the Jets, which were Week 1 against the Bills (Rodgers’ short-lived debut) and Week 4 against the reigning champion Chiefs (featuring Taylor Swift).
The Jets still have three more primetime games — a Week 9 Monday night game against the Chargers, Sunday night in Week 10 in Las Vegas and a Week 17 Thursday trip to Cleveland — as well as their Black Friday matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Plenty of time remains for more eyes to be on the Jets.
