The New York Jets put in two requests for an interview with the Cleveland Browns. After firing Mike LeFleur as their offensive coordinator, head coach Robert Saleh and company are looking for someone to get their offense on track. First, offensive line coach Bill Callahan declined their request for an interview, but wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Chad O’Shea has interviewed in New York.
O’Shea has play-calling experience in his one season under Brian Flores with the Miami Dolphins before losing that gig and joining Kevin Stefanski‘s staff in Cleveland. As the New England Patriots look to hire a new offensive coordinator as well, his Belichick connections may land him an interview there as well.
