With the end of the compensatory period having come and gone, teams can now sign free agents and not have it count against their compensatory picks for the 2024 draft. The Jets are projected three late-round compensatory picks via Over the Cap.
The nine-year veteran started seven games last season for the Broncos and has 75 career starts between his time with the Broncos, Dolphins and Packers.
The Jets likely will be in the mix for another veteran offensive tackle after not taking one until Carter Warren in round four. Turner would add another veteran depth piece and potential starter if need be.
