NFL players have been having a bit of fun this year during their introductions on Sunday Night Football on NBC.
The standard move is a simple one—say your name and the college you played at, and on to the next teammate to be introduced.
But rather than simply shout out their alma mater, some players have chosen to add a bit of flair to their introductions.
After being signed and pushed into a starting role in less than a week, Giants lineman Justin Pugh said he was from "straight off the couch."
Bears backup quarterback Tyson Bagent, who went to little-known Shepherd University, added the over-emphasized "THE" that is normally associated with Ohio State in front of his school's title.
On Sunday, Jets cornerback D.J. Reed got in on the fun. Rather than shout out Kansas State, where he played his college ball, Reed went with a bolder proclamation.
"D.J. Reed, HIM University."

Fans got a kick out of Reed's boast. With the ProFootballFocus rank below his name citing him as the top corner in the league, Reed had earned a bit of braggadocio.
Best corner in the league @d7_reed
