The Jets have announced their inactives for Week 8 against the Patriots and some interesting changes have come about as a result.
First, for the first time since Joe Flacco was starter, Mike White is active and he will be the backup to Zach Wilson as both Flacco and Chris Streveler (who was elevated from the practice squad this week) are both inactive.
Second, despite seemingly returning this week, Jermaine Johnson is inactive meaning the Jets will roll with five defensive ends: Carl Lawson, John Franklin-Myers, Jacob Martin, Vinny Curry and Micheal Clemons.
Third, but not really surprisingly, both Denzel Mims and Elijah Moore are active together for the first this season with Corey Davis out with a knee injury.
The rest of the inactives for the Jets are RB Zonovan Knight, CB Bryce Hall and S Tony Adams.
For the Patriots, we already knew center David Andrews, safety Kyle Duggar and DT Christian Barmore were out. Joining them on the inactive list are DT Sam Roberts, RB Kevin Harris and CB Shaun Wade.
