2023 NFL schedule: Jets 2023 schedule tracker

The NFL is set to release the 2023 regular season schedule Thursday but between the league making early announcements and other leaks coming out, we can start piecing together the schedule for the Jets. We’ll track what we know about the schedule so far before the real thing comes out.

Thursday, December 28 at Cleveland Browns

And here’s the fifth primetime appearance for the Jets, sixth if we’re including Black Friday which is an afternoon game. The Jets will appear on Thursday Night Football late in the season — as they did last season— as they’ll be in the final Thursday game of the season when they visit the Cleveland Browns. So instead of the Thursday before Christmas, the Jets will play on the Thursday after Christmas this time.

Sunday, November 12 at Las Vegas Raiders

Make it another primetime appearance for the Jets. Following their Monday night appearance against the Chargers, the Jets will be under the lights on the Las Vegas Strip when they take on the Raiders on November 12.

Monday, November 6 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Jets will have two home games on Monday night. In addition to the opener against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, the Jets will host Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers.

Sunday, October 15 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Jets’ early-season gauntlet continues with a mid-October date against the reigning NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Saturday, January 7 or Sunday, January 7 at New England Patriots

The Jets will finish the season in New England on either January 6 or 7. Tbh league will set the Week 18 following Week 17. The potential is there for these two teams to battle for a playoff spot, or maybe the Patriots could be the ones playing spoiler for a change. Time will tell.

Sunday, September 24 vs. New England Patriots

Per the New York Post, the Jets will welcome their old buddies, the New England Patriots to MetLife in Week 3 on September 24.

Sunday, September 17 at Dallas Cowboys

Following the Jets Monday night opener against the Bills, Week 2 brings the old Aaron Rodgers vs. Cowboys rivalry back as the Jets will head to Big D. It will be a 4:25 kickoff.

Sunday, October 1 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Per the New York Post, the Jets will have a Sunday night meeting with the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, the Jets’ second home primetime game in the first four weeks of the season. This will be the Jets’ first appearance on Sunday Night Football since 2011.

Sunday, December 24 vs. Washington Commanders

The Jets will host the Washington Commanders on Christmas Eve for an early kickoff, per JP Finlay of NBC4 Sports in Washington, D.C.

Sunday, October 29 at New York Giants

Per a report from the New York Post, the Jets will “visit” the New York Giants on October 29.

Monday, September 11 vs. Buffalo Bills

Aaron Rodgers will make his Jets’ debut in primetime when the Jets play their first game on Monday night since 2020 in an early AFC East showdown against the Buffalo Bills.

Friday, November 24 vs. Miami Dolphins

The NFL announced Wednesday that the Jets will host the Miami Dolphins in the league’s first game on Black Friday. The game is set for a 3:00 kickoff and will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
