Bringing some early cheer for holidaymakers, Jet2 has announced it will be restarting flights to three popular city break destinations from Newcastle this February.
Following the easing of travel restrictions, flights to Rome, Krakow and Prague will resume from Newcastle Airport as early as February 11, widening the choice for those eager to escape abroad.
The announcement from Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks comes in response to customer demand as travel returns to normality.

There will be twice-weekly services from Newcastle to the three cities, on a Monday and a Friday.
And, with demand on the rise again for city breaks, it means greater booking choice and flexibility for both customers and independent travel agents wanting to arrange getaways incorporating history and culture.
The company says customers will be able to pick from a flight-only option with Jet2.com or an ATOL-protected package holiday with Jet2CityBreaks available for a £60 per person booking deposit.

Package options include flights with 22kg hold luggage, transfers and a choice of two to five-star central hotels. In response to demand, there is also a £50 discount available when booking through Jet2CityBreaks while Jet2.com is offering 10% off flights.
