Jet2 has issued a "last chance" warning ahead of what experts predict will be the travel industry's busiest summer in years.
Many people are planning trips now covid rules have finally been lifted. Jet2 has responded to a "strong demand" for flights and holidays by adding new routes and destinations in recent weeks and months.
Thousands of extra holidays and flight seats to Crete were added earlier this year. Extra routes were also created to link a number of UK airports to resorts in Spain, Turkey and Portugal.

Now the travel provider is warning those who have yet to book their trips. In an email to customers, Jet2 said it was travellers' "last chance" to save at least 10% on all flights.
The email said: "Planning on booking a trip soon? Well you might as well save 10%^! Just book before midnight Monday 20 June 2022 and this dazzling discount will be all yours. The final countdown is on, so use it before you lose it…"
Summer flights on offer include trips to Ibiza from £28 and one-way flights to Menorca from £30. Winter deals include flights to Krakow from £45 and Barcelona from £46. To view the offers or to find out more, visit the Jet2 website
The travel industry has seen widespread disruption in recent weeks and months, with passengers complaining about long queues, delays and cancellations. However, a Jet2 spokesperson told the ECHO : “We have not made any cancellations due to staff shortages and we are continuing to receive positive feedback from happy customers and independent travel agents thanks to our dedicated teams who are continuing to work tirelessly to provide the best customer service in the industry.
"We took action to recruit well ahead of the bounce back and as such we have a very visible uniformed presence (referred to as the Red Team) in our UK airports as well as in our main overseas airports and in resorts. This team are on hand, making an enormous difference in terms of assisting and guiding our customers through their journey with us.”
