Jet2 has announced more routes and new destinations for summer 2023 from a number of UK airports.
Almost 6,000 extra seats have now been added to Malta, from four UK airports.
They are Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted and Manchester airports, the Liverpool Echo reports.
It comes after the tour operator added thousands of extra holidays and flight seats to Crete earlier this year.
Extra routes were also created to link a number of UK airports to resorts in Spain, Turkey and Portugal.
A Jet2 statement read: "On the back of very strong demand from holidaymakers looking to enjoy some winter sunshine, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have extended the season to Malta, with flights operating in the winter period from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and London Stansted Airports for the first time since Winter 19/20."
In addition, the companies have also extended the season during which Jet2 flights go to Malta from Manchester Airport.
The additional services are as follows:
Birmingham
- Monday services extended to November 28, and restarting from February 13, 2023.
Leeds Bradford
- Wednesday services now operating from March 1, 2021.
London Stansted
- Thursday services extended until November 24 and restarting from February 16, 2023
Manchester
- Thursday services extended to November 17 and restarting from March 2, 2023 onwards.
Jet2 is currently recruiting for cabin crew from Manchester Airport.
The company says it wants candidates who have a 'genuine passion' for delivering good customer service while also having "the confidence to handle a variety of customer facing situations".
Cabin crew members are also expected to promote in-flight products with a smile.

Many airlines have been struggling to re-staff quickly enough to deal with demand following the lifting of restrictions introduced during the coronavirus pandemic.
